An efficient network of roads and rivers enhance Sibu's position as the commercial hub of Sarawak. This existing infrastructure will be further boosted by the RM125 million Durin Bridge which will, upon completion, provide uninterrupted access by land from Kuching to the length of Sarawak via the Pan Borneo highway. Sibu Jaya is a park township spread over an area of 1,057 acres. A total of 198 acres have been set aside for industrial development.
